Once you accept this is going to be terrible, it's kind of entertaining to spot the weirdly composited shots, inconsistent lighting, odd digressions, and places where Ed Asner and the dog were clearly filmed completely separately from any other actors. If you liked The Room, you can probably enjoy this. Can you drive to the North Pole? Sure! Is it a good idea to smuggle a criminal drifter into Russia? There are no repercussions! Why is Elvis there? Who knows! Did it need an epilogue? No, not at all! Shoutout to the one animated elf amongst a mix of child elves and miniaturized adults in the nightmare fever dream of Santa's Workshop.
