Simply put, there is very little to like about this movie. It's only saving graces are the cinematography and choreography. It looks nice, it's smooth, and the acting is as good as you'd expect. That's about where it ends, however.
With a completely irredeemable main character, some high school level cynical rambling, and the same basic plotline that's been toyed with by an endless score of subpar action dramas, The Killer fails to really do anything other than kind of glorify being a cold, emotionless sociopath who only cares about his token Helpless Girl.
There's no one to relate to, and as far as people to root for, you're more or less left trying to choose between the lesser of two evils. Who would you rather win, a psychopath or a mobster? Well, I'd rather just watch something else, personally.
