Hooked at the Beginning, Disappointed at the End

Warning: Spoilers
Sigh.... I love the first few episodes where the viewers were building a bond with Bang Dami when she's alive so that when she passed away, it would motivate us to seek justice for her. I understand if she is not the main character but I was hoping her death would be the driving factor of the entire series. I actually really wanted her adoptive father to be the main character because that would make so much sense. Then.... the identity of K was revealed.

To be honest, I like the idea of 'identity reveal' giving the viewers a shock factor and suddenly all the puzzles come together but the reveal feels so redundant. Since K's main target was Min Dun Hyuk, I thought K will be revealed to him in a dramatic way but it's so underwhelming. FINE...

I felt like from then on, the whole Bang Dami's case was a side story rather than the main focus which frustrated me because the reason I continued the series was kinda to support that girl. She has always been my drive and shadow for this series.

Spoiler! I don't care..... At the end, Bang Dami's real adoptive father passed away. Guys! Bang Dami murdered Her adoptive parents murdered Her grandpa murdered Ji A murdered

This means in Season 2, Bang Dami will be like something of the past. They might treat it like a mini side story and focus on the conflict between Min Dun Hyuk and Matthew. My only hope for Season 2 is that Dami's adoptive father miraculously survived and Dami will be the driving force of the story again if not, it's just going to feel so shallow. I mean the identities - revealed, mystery - solved. There's no drive nor motivation to further deepen the story. All we have left is a fight, that is it.....
