Beautifully shot and directed this falls under the catagory of 'I didn't know that'. These women seaweed farmers are legendary especially how they carefully cultivate their harvest and turn it into products that sell all over the world. A study of not only empowerment but of.fortitude and humor in one of the most beautiful places on the planet. And for each woman the challenges are unique, the work hard but at the end of the day they have created something through their own hard work and ethics in a traditional patriarchal society. Director Kat Zoula treats the subject matter with respect and alongside the female stars she allows the environment to take on a starring role as well. Beautiful stuff.
