The negative reviews are harsh and are taking the show too seriously. It's a medical drama about young nurses and pilots, it's not meant to be real life. Yes, some of the episode storylines are dramatic and maybe outrageous, but you could say the same for shows like 9-1-1 or Greys Anatomy. I find it entertaining, and each episode has an interesting storyline. There's a lot of character drama, and romance. I agree that some of the acting could be better, but it's easy to look past.
I recommend giving it a shot. I had an easy time watching it and binged the first season. I'm excited to get started on the second season.
