Cheap but OK

Warning: Spoilers
Zombiefied is a low-budget horror film that combines the Zombie genre with your run-of-the-brink Slasher flick. Overall, this movie is very amateur; the low budget is quite noticeable, the effects are cheap and the acting is well... amateur. That being said the film still manages to deliver a decent storyline about a heavy metal track that turns listeners into zombies. In addition to zombies, a psychotic killer in a Richard Nixon mask is taking people out one by one and is mysteriously able to control the zombies. In the end the connections are all explained pretty well. Despite the lack of acting talent the characters are fairly likable and viewers will not have to deal with annoying overacting that often ruins other zombie movies. While the effects are cheap there are a lot of gore scenes that are well done and it offers a unique twist of curing the infected into their fully competent human state. Waking up from that sounds worse than any hangover I can think of. This is a good film to seek out if you're actually thinking of making a horror movie because it's a pretty good example of how to pull off a decent horror flick without much of a budget.
