Enjoyed it!!

I quite enjoyed this film. Been looking forward to this one for a while. I've heard people say "Tollywood only makes loud movies that are over the top!" Last I checked, I enjoyed Veera Simha Reddy more than Mark Antony, so while I understand that statement and have watched a few of these 'loud' Telugu movies, I'd been looking forward to this one. And it didn't disappoint.

This is a rom-com/drama unlike anything else from Tollywood, and that's all credit to the writing. The female lead takes a certain direction that you wouldn't expect from an Indian film, let alone Tollywood. I know Anushka used to be big, not sure if she still is in the industry but interesting that she decided to play a role which could have gotten her a decent amount of backlash but I thought it was well done, and she did a good job as well. Naveen Polishetty did a great job being a comedian when had to be one, and a serious guy when it was time to be one.

The manner in which the story has been written and plays out made me care for the two you really want things to work out for them and can't wait to see where it goes. (Surely it wasn't just me, right?) Sure, I'd have written a few things differently, to make things 'more coincidental and meant-to-be' but this wasn't anything to complain about. I hope Naveen goes on to do well.

Watch this film, it's not sappy romance, it's not forced-comedy and it's certainly not the same old film either.
