For a start the people on here giving low scores must not have seen the same brilliant film that I saw. The idea of mixing ideas from The Abyss, Jurassic Park, Jaws, Moby Dick and Deepstar six was a brilliant move and also the amazing fight scenes. The little dinosaurs that escaped from the trench made it look like Jurassic Park and are a great addition. We even get a giant Octopus like the films from the 1950's. This monster film had everything to keep you on the edge of your seat. The monsters are very well made special effects and looks so real. Jason Statham is a usual an amazing lead character doing what you expect him to do and at one time acting like the captain in Moby Dick when he goes after the Mosasaurs with his explosive harpoons. Ignore the so called critics saying how poor this is just so they can appear cool. Rent it or buy it or see it in the cinema you will not regret it.
