Ikka will just keep on reinventing himself again and again and again until he reaches us a form that none of us can possibly comprehend. How he did the classic mass in Bheeshma parvam just last year and then went on ahead and showed us a completely different kind of mass which is more realistic. I can't even begin to talk about him. Let's just keep him aside. Roby Varghese's directorial debut hits all the right spots, the screenplay is king here. All the supporting actors did a fantastic job. It has a runtime of 2 hours and 40 minutes but is somehow perfectly paced. There might be one or two forced moments in there that might seem unnecessary, or even a couple of dialogues that seem unnatural, but the movie is enjoyable enough to not really care about those factors, but it is something I hope the director and Shafi improves upon in the future. I agree with the popular concensus as well that it gives strong Theeran vibes, but its fresh not to worry, given that it's based on a real Kannur squad. My rambling will be incomplete without mentioning Sushin Shyam's score which just elevates the whole movie and every single scene to an entirely different level. Ever since we discovered him I have never hoped for Anirudh to come to Mollywood. We're well off here. Mammootty Kampany pls keep on upgrading Ikka's choices like this lol.
