I loved the newness of this. The ET design and theme is quite refreshing to the genre.
I would have appreciated an absolute lack of speech, I think it would have put the movie in a very empty space nowadays.
In regards to the main character, I found it very amusing to see someone who fights back, in spite of the horrific events happening around her. Her acting is solid, overall considering the loneliness and the lack of support that supposes another actor on scene.
The FX could have been better, but it is more than fine, IMO.
The movie is worth watching, there's no doubt it could always have been better, but it is nice to have something that new on the billboard.
