"The Good Samaritan " was a case I was really looking forward to see. After seein: I thought it was a relatively underwhelming mystery. It's not terrible, but manages to be average at best.
Let's start with the good.
. The production values of the episode are great. The direction's solid, so is the acting and the music.
. The mystery is fun for the most part. The dialogue is passable, there are some good twists as well.
But....
. The story does not satisfy as a serial killer episode. It does not go deep into the psychology of the murderers and the solution must be one of the most ridiculous endings in "NCIS". The twist at the end did not work at all. Some of the humor is cringe-worthy too, the overly flirtatious sherif did not propel the plot along as one would have wanted to.
Overall, a disappointment.
