Most of the reviews for this episode complain about the fact that this one is too political as COVID is being discussed. Eeh, COVID is being discussed as a satire. Everything that is discussed around this subject is approached in the form of satire. In fact, every (supposedly political) topic ever dealt within the series is approached from the satirical point of view. Why? Because the series is a comedy. A look at a family that is living on the fringes of society, a family with its own morals, its own ethics, but with a heart for each other. Funny that this is not seen by everyone.
Was it a right decision to include COVID in the Shameless world. Yes. Were the jokes around COVID funny. No. I can't explain that well, maybe it was still too early.
