A simple, yet unpredictable movie setup like a typical slasher. This movie is a well scripted guessing game in whodunit fashion. Bakalova isn't quite as charming as she is in Borat, but she has dramatic performance in her blood. I found the costume design done remarkably well. After exposing that Davidson's character doesn't have tattoos, production found it in their budget to have some bath robes and hoodies in their wardrobe.
I probably would've liked this movie more with a lower budget. It's impressively written but I think it would be a hit or miss with the casual audiences with expectations who see a movie like this.
