This season has completely exposed the fact that the writers and showrunners have nothing but contempt for the source material, the fans, and good storytelling. This episode is the ultimate example that they've stopped trying to even act like they want to tell a good story. Instead, maybe they just want the writing credit and paycheck. Really, who can tell? Ciri's characterization completely flipped again. None of the "politics" is interesting or makes sense, it's just boring. They've decided to go for laughs in a show that has never focused on it.
