The Streets of Colour is a great independent feature film representing the iconic streets of Western Sydney. A film that explores life in a lower decile demographic, depicting a raw account growing up in a pernicious environment. Rahel Rohman plays the role of Terence, a troubled kid from a broken home who tries to forge a life of friendship and purpose. Suddenly his dreams are ripped apart by racism, violence and substance abuse. His path takes a turn for the worse as he delves into the depths of darkness when a miraculous spiritual intervention saves him. His road to redemption and courage to survive forces him to switch lanes embarking on a new spiritual journey. He must mend a broken relationship with his ex partner in hopes of rekindling a bond with his newborn son. His performance is powerful and emotionally gripping, the directing and cinematography creatively paint the picture of the multi cultural streets that many call home.
