The Streets of Colour is a great independent feature film representing the iconic streets of Western Sydney. A film that explores life in a lower decile demographic, depicting a raw account growing up in a pernicious environment. Rahel Rohman plays the role of Terence, a troubled kid from a broken home who tries to forge a life of friendship and purpose. Suddenly his dreams are ripped apart by racism, violence and substance abuse. His path takes a turn for the worse as he delves into the depths of darkness when a miraculous spiritual intervention saves him. His road to redemption and courage to survive forces him to switch lanes embarking on a new spiritual journey. He must mend a broken relationship with his ex partner in hopes of rekindling a bond with his newborn son. His performance is powerful and emotionally gripping, the directing and cinematography creatively paint the picture of the multi cultural streets that many call home. An emotionally riveting masterpiece that is The Streets of Colour.
