Black Mirror used to be a drama and science fiction series about the use and abuse of technology, among other themes. Suddenly, it has transformed into a series of horror mini-stories completely detached from its original main theme and narrative thread, which it used to have until Season 4 (because Season 5 is also terrible - although it still maintains the main theme, it is nowhere near the quality of the previous stories).
This story makes no sense. And if it were to have metaphors, they are terribly executed. There is no science fiction (it is more of a supernatural genre) and it fails to present the consequences of technology abuse, which used to be the intriguing aspect of Black Mirror. I don't know what's happening with the people in charge of this series who fail to see the obvious.
This episode has nothing to do with the show and it's also bad by itself.
