Tex Mex Motors (2023– )
8/10
Yes of course it is all staged and acted. I don't care, its TV

I love watching old cars together with my son, and we like to daydream about restoring cars. We can discuss colors and shapes together, we can talk about keeping cars original or not, what kind of old-timer we both would like to find, etc. So this a perfect show to watch together.

Tex Mex is not a reality show, it is a TV show, it's entertainment.

Of course those are not real barnfinds, or at least not real barnfinds when they were shown on TV for the first time.

Unless those cars that supposedly have been standing still for ages all have magical batteries, magical fuel and magical air in the tires. And those are most likely also not the real sellers and real buyers. Do I care? No.

And you don't get to see much of the work that is done (or supposedly is done), but I don't mind. Sticking to some highlights works for me and my son.

But what's real important; I don't find the actors annoying, and they don't try too hard to give the show much drama.

I can easily watch an other season.
