Pure nostalgia and cinematography

This movie sticks with you. It sticks to your bones. If it's the first time watching it you'll forever remember it. I f it's your 10th time watching it's a comforting blanket of nostalgia.

The actors are incredible. One of River Phonenix's best (sadly). His acting skills were so multifaceted for the his age. It makes me long for what could have been. The rest of the perfectly selected actors craft the enthralling tale completely nailing each of their unique characters. They should all get accolades. You feel for each one's story and where they came from. Something that Stephen King was a true master of. Incredible character development.

I'm amazed this adaption of one King's most famous short stories throws me right into the 1960's and I'm ready for the tumultuous ride. Perfect and well done! Kudos to Rob Reiner for bringing King's vision to the screen so we can all see the beautifuly complex story that King wanted to tell.
