While I usually enjoy Tubi original movies, I found The Amityville Curse okay, but I was hoping for a bit more. The acting is fine and the cast all do their thing quite well. The script was rather uninspired and the constant bickering between the characters was a little annoying after a while. The story itself, a group of friends decide to renovate a house in order to flip it, only this is the infamous Amityville Horror house.
Is the house haunted? Is their an evil presence dwelling there? Of course there is, it's the Amityville House.
I have to admit, while I didn't hate this movie, but there are others out there that have done it better, like Amityville It's About Time and Amityville The Evil Escapes. I was just hoping for a bit more.
