I'm pretty sure the animation had a storyboard and took time to make and finish, but the bad part about it is that IT'S FULL VERSION WHICH WAS IN THE ORIGINAL DANSK VERSION IS NOT IN THE ENGLISH CUT OF THE MOVIE, where your point is unjustifiable to call the animation bad is because they did a dance; A DANCE.
3. He barely sees the point that the CGI had some flaws, but still looked good and on-point.
4. Maybe the camera doesn't move much, but at least it can give us more time to understand the characters struggles. The camera never always moves instantly, unless it's for moving shots or many action scenes. THIS, however, is a comedy, which makes it CINEMA.
5. The characters do indeed have 2D characterized features, but that's what makes it charming, of how much 2D can be characterized into 3D. Get with the damn times reviewer!

The story may be simple, and includes a robot casino owned by a money-hungry scoundrel named Carlos, then tries to kick Marco off an island for "propaganda" against the casino, but it's the best there is, so don't just kick a trope for being a trope and move on.

This movie wasn't even an instant straight-to-DVD movie, as it very much was created in a DENMARK studio, and THEN it was dubbed and renamed to English later on in a different month IN the same year, where it was shown in theaters, and EVEN before that, a film festival at that very country, where most people had liked the work of the movie.
