I have to admit, I'm not a fan of "Evil Dead" movies franchise and I have only watched "Evil Dead" (2013) and this one, "Evil Dead Rise" (2023). The plot of the movie was very interesting, even though it was kinda similar to the previous movies. However, that movie was a nice introduction towards the new fans. The storyline was very well written and everything was well-explained, even though it was very simple and easy to understand. The characters were very interesting, well-developed and really likeable (especially, the family). The filming location of the movie was way different than the previous movies and I really liked it, it was just a big old apartment. The casting of the movie was nice and their acting was descent, I really enjoyed them. The killcount of the movie was SUPER GORY and BLOODY and each kill was very graphic. The opening scene of the movie was kinda expected and it was really intense. The ending twist was definitely unexpected and it was really clever, however it wasn't really shocking. In my opinion, it wasn't a very scary movie and most jumpscares were definitely predictable. However, I really enjoyed the creepy vibes of the movie. Overall, it was an enjoyable movie, very intense, brutal and I would definitely recommend it to anyone! By the way, that movie definitely deserves a sequel...
