I love watching movies that are set in my hometown of Sydney. I have often been to The Rocks and I have walked the stairs that are featured in the movie. This film does a solid job in delivering the scares and the shadow man crawling up the wall is effectively creepy. The acting is excellent and the setting in the old house is creepy and atmospheric. The only thing that I thought let the movie down was the way it all ended with the husband committing a crime. Robbing his workplace. It seemed out of tone with the rest of the film, but I imagine it was to show that the spirit that was haunting the house was taking him over. But this is a small grip as overall, the movie gives its audience a nice little supernatural horror.
