.I came across this about a couple of months after it came out. I completely forgot about it, but I remembered it about three days ago, and decided to watch it, because it sounded great. However, I was extremely disappointed with what I saw.
Yeesh, where to start? The writing is awkward and frustrating. Every single character except for the main two are portrayed as overly annoying, immature, or self centered. This was clearly done to make the main two more likeable. And even then, the main two just... aren't. They aren't likeable. It's not that they're unlikeable, it's just hard to give a crap about them. They have no personalities.
The acting doesn't help either, especially with the three people who portray the game wardens. They are totally unbelievable. Besides this, all (yes, all) of the actors did a horrible job. I have seen acting better from people who have never acted before. The lines are delivered improperly, with either too much dead space between them, or too quickly after. None of them are actually concerned about dying, or the people around them dying. They move on moronically quickly. They're almost more sociopathic and deranged than the actual killer. You probably think I'm being overdramatic with that one.

There's a scene where one of them steps on a mine. One of the others (who is a complete maniac in and of herself) shoots his leg to get him to step off, and when he does, blood and guts spill all over the others, who only care about the mess.
Speaking of the killer, his entire character is a mess. I have no idea who he's supposed to be at the end of the film. The fiance? The childhood bullying victim? It's impossible to understand.
There is also an absurd amount of cussing and blood. I'd be willing to bet that the cussing makes up for about thirty to forty percent of the film, especially from the psychotic character I mentioned earlier.
All together a complete mess of a film. I think it's supposed to have some sort of comedic aspect, but it's hard to find. Don't watch this, it's not worth your time.
