This is a international diplomatic drama that doesn't take itself seriously and runs like a soap opera.
The lead role played by Keri Russell does not seem very believable. She seems neurotic, haggard, disheveled mess most of the time. But she is supposedly "brilliant" because every harebrained idea she comes up with ends up being successful for some reason. Rufus Sewell as her husband is probably the best character in the show.
The show feels more like soap opera where the lead character is in a troubled marriage and she also seems to harbor romantic feelings for another man creating a love triangle. There are also other relationships amongst other characters which don't seem to add any value to primary theme of the story.
Best thing about the show was that it is filmed in visually pleasing locations across UK and few other places.
Watched Season1 before writing this review and not sure if I would watch the next season.
