I think it's safe to assume that most of us remember "G. I. Joe: A Real American Hero" as a 'toon with big action and far flung settings; and I'd wager that's mostly true. Just not here.
Fan favorite baddies like Storm Shadow, the Dreadnoks. And of course Zartan, battle a group of mostly B-list Joes in a plot with stakes that seem kinda small when compared to what Cobra and Co. Usually have cooked up, and most of the action is set in one place.
But none of that detracts from the overall bottom line. "Countdown for Zartan" is a tight, self-contained and reasonably entertaining "little" episode.
