I managed to land this series recently, interested since it ran right in the middle of my childhood interest in Saturday morning cartoons, yet it ran opposite to cartoons I normally watched, so I didn't even remember the title.
I just watched this episode, and the writers surprised me with some clever quips that made me chucke ... and that's always a plus. :-)
The story is the standard "haunted house with hidden rooms and secret passages and a treasure rumor". The owner recently died and left everything to a young heir, but rumors of a swamp monster ... possibly the spirit of a man the deceased owner of the mansion may have rooked out of his half of a fortune, has everyone running scared.
