I'm choosy about what my kids watch, and this show is a go-to for my youngest (though the older kids like it too). It supports positive relationships with parents and siblings and shows kids having fun. It isn't visually overstimulating, and the episodes are short and sweet. My three year old belly-laughs at every episode, and often pretends to be Simon.
As a bonus for our family (we live in Morocco, and the school system is in Arabic and French), this show was made in France, and we wanted our littles to get good exposure to native speaking French, so we alternate watching it in English and French.
