We just finished this on HBO Max and we're so mad. What a fake show! Kicking out Dorian after being one the most consistent top chefs is so bananas! It seemed like they wanted a certain look for their winner instead of letting the two chefs that won most of the challenges go. We were totally yelling at the TV. When they announced it's was chef Raz, I swear Chris was already half way turned towards her. We had to rewind it.
And I didn't enjoy emotional manipulation that was happening at judging. After they judged the dish, usually a less than positive review, the host would ask 'what would wining mean to you' . Like, WTH? You just slammed them and they know they're going home and u want them to open up to you and cry? That does not lift up people of color.
