Case Histories: Jackson and the Women (2013)
Season 2, Episode 3
8/10
Dramatic and funny.

Jackson Brodie is asked by a tee age boy to learn what happened to his mother, who was seemingly killed by a notorious killer, and he's also asked to look for Samira, who's parents want her brought home.

I loved the contrast of the two cases that Brodie is investigating, both are intriguing, both are pretty sad, but definitely engaging. Brodie's life is quite literally turned upside down by the women in his life.

I really did like the touches of humour, that scene where Brodie is surrounded by all of the women in his life, that was really funny. I loved Natasha Little's scenes, she was so funny.

The acting is first rate, it's a killer performance from Jason Isaacs, equally brilliant from Amanda Abbington, that dinner scene was remarkable, if truly sad, the ultimate sacrifice?

Solid end to the show, it's just such a pity that it had to end here, there was definitely a whole lot more they could have done.

8/10.
