Oh, the humanity!
14 March 2023
This, for me, is a definite "crash and burn" episode, but with the last episode of the previous season forms a very convincing whole. The "crash and burn" element is because the audience is forced to send a virtual scream to the writers: "Aarrgh! No, don't do that!!!" We feel the anguish of Brass, Ecklie and Russell, so well set up in the previous episode, and the lesser pain and frustration of the rest of the team. That Luke Kleintank fitted so easily into his character makes me feel a bit less guilty for feeling that there was something just a bit off and untrustworthy about his character in "Bones". I hope we will eventually see the downfall of the loathsome pastor!
