9/10
Incredibly hard hitting, but an excellent episode.

Alex and Tony are hunting for a serial killer and rapist, who's targeting professional going women.

It's an excellent later episode, it's thought provoking and challenging, in several ways, Tony is truly put to the test to try and find this sadistic killer. It's very well paced, it doesn't let up for a single moment.

What an incredibly sad story this is, hard not to empathise with the poor wife, what a horrible situation to be in, and of course there's troubled young man Jack.

The ending was edge of the seat viewing, and talk about being made to wait for the big reveal.

I'd be stunned if this episode was ever repeated on terrestrial TV, not because of the quality, which is excellent, but the actual content, the crimes are brutal, and they don't hold back showing a degree of violence, and there are several self harming scenes, it is graphic.

A young Jack O'Connell is fantastic as Jack, terrific actor, and his story is arguably as interesting, if not more so than the main body of the story.

9/10.
