Nearly perfect and overcomes early writing flaws
27 February 2023
I would say this show is closer to a 9.5 but perfect isn't there so you just can't get a ten. I think they overcome early writing struggles. His BF is highly unlikeable at first as an overly flamboyant cliche but then as he actually talks about himself and becomes a real person that could actually exist we round out the characters. I will always love Crista Miller, she is a smart and witty character once again but is finally in a less cheesy Bill Lawrence show where she can use her acting ability. Harrison Ford is priceless and a national treasure. Segel will continue to come out as deeply flawed. Obviously the situation in his house will continue to implode before it can improve. I also think this show will make us more aware of mental health issues while breaking down walls, while not reading as a pSA.
