... i don't like it, it's worse than the first episode of the first season (= S01E01). Will Riker quickly says that he will help Picard, that's too much easy and consequently boring. Picard come on ship faster than in S01E01. His Romulan "wife" in S03E01 passively let him go, in S01E01 she isn't so passive. In order to prevent going everything to easy, captain of ship Titan is more enemy than friend. I didn't watch other episodes in yet but I bet that Annika and Raffi will join Picard.
As in previous seasons, there are many off-topic events and tasks. Every episode would last up to 20 minutes without them, except the first and the last episode, because these 2 episodes have less off-topic events. For example: is Raffy's work about Red Lady related to Picard's work to find Beverly? Finding and saving Beverly is the main task.
