After season 1 which was mostly well written, the characters were credible and - with some weak subplots - the build-up and tension was solid, in season 2 there seems to be no genuine idea how to continue with a story which is been told in its entirety.
The more the story proceeds in season 2 the more this show appears to be a cheap mishmash of absurd decisions, cheasy character "development" and cliche-laden plot constructions. There is so much blabla and filling stuff you can easily skip half of each episode without missing anything important. The acting now is ridiculous at its best, and I am really sorry for Bryan Cranston having to play such a shallow crap.
So if season 1 had maybe a bit of "the wire meets the night of" season 2 is more "denver clan"-style.
