Seriously... The flashback on 2003 was good but way too long (the Dawn of the dead remake did it much better 20 years ago) then we switch to present times that gamers seem to feel happy with.
OK screen-licking zombies, this setting is dull, like hqrdly 5% original stuff compared with all the apocalyptical worlds/zombie movies out there. Actors are dull, characters are extra-dull, action is dull and to cap it all the plot is non existent.
Or maybe you're a sucker for fishing expedition-like narratives?
The Last of Us is so lame I found myself at a loss for word well below IMDb's requirement. I shouldn't be annoyed but I am just realizing how much people revel in watching zombies (or uninffected mavericks rebels without a cause for that matter) in the mirror.
