The origin of Clayface gives us yet another villain to have sympathy for, and that makes a clean sweep so far in the series. Here a popular actor has suffered a horribly disfiguring accident, and only a cream, so far only a test product, allows him to reconfigure his face into something normal.
Unfortunately, the industrialist responsible for the cream--the real villain--holds the availability of more of the cream to force the actor to impersonate people ... starting with Bruce Wayne in an attempt to take over Wayne Enterprises, and in the process Lucious Fox is injured and names Bruce as being responsible!
