This film has deeply haunted me. It is deeply beautiful, soulful, and arresting.
The films depictions of depression are raw, and arguably some of the most realistic I have seen in a movie in a long time. This film strikes in it's subtleties. It's beautifully and selectively shot, in its attempts to replay the memories of the main character. It weighs heavy on the themes of fatherhood/daughterhood, and what it means to be enough for those we love.
This is probably gained a spot in my favorite films of all time. It's that good. It's that haunting. It's that unique. I am almost thankful for the experience.
