I like how this episode ties itself together. It's biggest strength is wrapping up the loose ends. It's sort of cliche but I think it works to fit with the theme of the series. It starts off unpleasant as these bitter family stories usually do but rights the ship as it goes on.
If I have one complaint, I think the OJ Simpson stuff is pointless and it doesn't need to be there. Other than the fact that it happened during the time, there isn't really a point to it. He calls into the restaurant, supposedly found the famous gloves in the car he repo'd and appears on TV, none of which are useful to the plot. Anyone who doesn't know about the trial will be left confused.
