Two of Popeye's nephews try to get Popeye out of the house while they sneak a present in.
I prefer the Famous Studios Popeye cartoons with the nephews to the usual biff-and-bang ruckus of Popeye and Bluto fighting over Olive Oyl, but this one raises some questions. What happened to the other two nephews is the primary one. I suppose the ever tightening budgets made the absence necessary, as well as the partial animation in several scenes. Character design has also been simplified, and while the gag construction remains good throughout, I fear the series had long since outweighed its welcome since its heyday in the Fleischer era.
