Real life and natural
3 January 2023
I'm not sure young people can fully appreciate just how natural and real the actors, writer and director made this film feel. The actors are so real you feel as though you are in the film overhearing and watching their conversations. The screen writing is very real and fitting with well delivered lines, it almost makes you believe you are watching a scene from a reality tv show. The three character actors are fantastic, I can't say enough how true they are, again making you beleive you are watching a documentary of some kind. If you are older you probably know aging friends like those portrayed and it makes you take inventory of those you know as well as yourself. Healthy and open, kind and sensative, it is a wonderful story. The pace and introduction of the characters through scenes very well orchastrated keep the story real. The ending is not really and ending but just life as though life just continues. This sort of non-endng leaves you the viewer with the feeling you were hearing about this human story from a close friend. Or that you were able to somehow become a fly on the wall in a small goup of friends lives. I wish to praise everyone in the production of this film, well done. The Captain.
