After a break the cast of 'The Vicar of Dibley' returned in these 2004 specials, with this being the first part.
I remember being disapointed with this episode when it aired, and revisiting it all these years later it still doesn't hold up to much.
It's got its moments, don't get me wrong, but the focus of the episode just seems to be very scattered, with far too much going on.
It also goes a bit too far over the line for me in terms of silliness and crude humour.
It's lovely to see everyone back though, and there are enough moments to see this over the line, but I do tend to skip this and the other 2004 Christmas Period episode and go straight to the next ones.
