Tara vs Bilal (2022)
10/10
A fresh, heartwarming movie, makes you smile at lot of instances

I just started watching randomly and the storyline does capture your attention in every frame. Every character shines and is allowed to showcase their part of story.

Screenplay is convincing -- be it the moments from a Kashmiri wedding, to the portrayal of a 'pro-LGBTQ' dance club in London, to the family drama witnessed in a matriarchal household!

The main characters Bilal (Harshvardhan Rane) and Tara (Sonia Rathee) are endearing and their romance blooms so convincingly and tugs at your heart. While Rane's acting has always been natural and leaves you speechless many times, Sonia Rathee's innocence will make you smile.

Raheem Mir, who plays Ritz is a revelation, he plays a LGBTQ dancer/artist and his love story with Jiggy is a fresh breeze.

Some portions are extremely laughable, like Ritz faking as Tara's ex-husband and how he ends up charming the Khan ladies with his dance sequence on "Laal dupatta".

It is worth a watch if you are looking for a 'marshmallow romance' with a little bit of drama.
