Warning: Spoilers
"Now run!" When the unironic use of one of the most basic and overused tropes of writing is supposed to be some sort of climax of an episode, you know you're not dealing with top tier writing.

It's not that there aren't any elements in there that are decently relevant to the continued development of the characters. It's not that there aren't any creative uses and combinations of concepts, or a lack of social commentary. It is that the execution lacks all conviction.

To me, it feels like creating R&M episodes has become a chore rather than a passion for the writers. I hope they can rekindle their love for R&M in working on season seven, because at this point I am expecting new R&M episodes to be just ok.
