Absolutely brilliant quite simply.
When this show was good (and I don't think it ever became anything less than enjoyable in its eleven year run) it was very, very good indeed, and this episode finds it at the top of its game.
It's extremely funny, it's extremely heartfelt, and it all comes together wonderfully, giving each character their own little moment in style. Even characters who were a bit thinner in terms of their development (Mitch, Alex) get some laughs too.
It all makes for a wonderful time, and a joy of an episode to revisit all these years later.
Ty Burrell getting tasered is 10/10 in itself. And it's not even the best version. Check out him doing something very similar in the short-lived sitcom 'Back to You'.
'Modern Family' still to this day doesn't get the recognition it deserves.
