DuckTales (2017–2021)

Awesome show
9 December 2022
As a 2000s baby, I grew up watching this show in the final years of my childhood. I watched it from the beginning to the very end. The finale felt rushed, but the rest of the series is fantastic and I can tell a lot of heart, thought, and love was put into this. The animation is fantastic, and if you look closely at the backgrounds it resembles a comic book. The characters are well done, and relatable. The stories are fun, deep, emotional, and make the show really enjoyable. It deals with serious issues, like the loss of a parent, and it also has some funny episodes like Daytrip of Doom. I loved this show very much and It is still enjoyable. I watched some episodes of the original recently but didn't like it as much. The animation wasn't very appealing, Huey Dewey and Louie were all the same character, whereas here they have their own personalities, and some of the stories were kind of silly to me. Webby is a annoying character in the original. But here, she is my favorite. I guess those who grew up with the original have a lot of nostalgia for it, as I have nostalgia for the reboot. But even fans of the original say this is superior. I wish those few negative comments I saw would've given it a chance and see how well-done this was. But the point is, this reboot is great and is a huge part of my final years of childhood. 10/10.
