Entertaining abomination.
5 December 2022
This movie is an entertaining abomination and this definition is respectful of the film. On the one hand there is an obvious exploitation of the figure of Bruce Lee who died ten years before the film's premiere. When I saw the international edition (the most famous one) I was able to enjoy the impudence in the edition, production, direction and the lack of originality in the story. All in all, it's a fantastic exploitation genre film as we have a clone of Bruce Lee, a fantastic nude by Miranda Austin, very good martial arts sequences and even a nod to spy movies in the final part. Living up to the maxim that "all Asians are equal", by far the Korean who plays Bruce Lee's brother looks quite similar to the great idol of martial arts despite being an expert in real life in Taekwondo. The film is an Ed Wood/Godfrey Ho abomination but it is also entertaining and that must be acknowledged.
