The Ladder (I) (2021)

Warning: Spoilers
Two virtues - Keith Smith acting and the provocative subject- at the venerable age, chance to become, again, young.

In same measure, a film about family, old promises and the decision defining a man not very far by death.

A short film with status of kick to reflection.

Well crafted, beautiful acted and proposing a character who lives inner many of us. Aging and the answer to it. A medical procedure versus a day of fishing. A father reminding to his son a promise and the vision of the young man and his wife. Not the less, a clear, beautiful simplicity of story.

In short, just a beautiful short film , with fair dose of hope and joy of life.
