The film begins in an empty swimming pool where a young man (Julius Nitschkoff) and a young woman (Lana Cooper) are playing hide and seek. Both are fooling around, then the viewer learns that the young woman, Toni, is the young man's mother named Bruno, who is only 15 years older. The close relationship between mother and son is already evident here.
The location of the film is the almost extinct island of Ibiza in the off-season. Bruno and Toni are Woking here as cleaners in a hotel.
