Nostalgic final episode including endearing flashbacks and moving scenes
27 November 2022
A good ending in which our survivors must save their kids and the Commonwealth , here there's an intimate review of the past exploits of our protagonists . The series goes on to explore the challenges of life in a world overrun by zombies who take a toll on the survivors , and sometimes the interpersonal conflicts present a greater danger to their continuing survival than the zombies that roam the country . Over time, the characters are changed by the constant exposure to death and some grow willing to do anything to survive . Concerning a merciless fight for survival in which some survivors struggle to fend off the invader zombies ; as well as competing with other survivor groups who are prepared to do whatever it takes to survive . This ¨Rest In Peace¨(2022) whose title is taken directly from the final volume of its predecessor graphic novel based on the series drawn by Robert Kirkman ; it turns out to be a stirring and enjoyable episode . Resulting to be one of the highest earning in the last season ; in addition , being full of eerie scenes with the creepy zombies and thrilling events . There are some flashbacks in which we noticeably remember previous heroes who sadly disappeared , adding images of the survivors . A nostalgic look at the past that makes us feel a lot of emotions and attraction for the disappeared friends in which we have lived , enjoyed and suffered with the large number of protagonists during 175 episodes which little by little they have usually perished at the hands of the Whisperers and some heads put on pikes or killed by evildoers or ruthless assassins . There are agreeable final appearances from Rick Grimes : Andrew Lincoln since his disappearance after the bridge explosion , and Michonne's : Danai Gurira first appearance since going to look for Rick and a quick look at beloved roles , such as Lori : Sarah Wayne and son Carl : Chandler Riggs , Shane : John Bernthal , Andrea Harrison : Laurie Holden , Beth Greene : Emily Kenny , Hershel Greene : recently deceased Scott Wilson , Glenn Rhee : Steven Yeun , a large but shrinking group while struggling to fend off the zombie hordes . And , of course , a spectacular ride on his motorcycle by Daryl Dixon himself : Norman Reedus only actor who played the 175 episodes , following Melissa McBride as Carol Peletier who performed 174 episodes.

This is magnificent finale episode turns out to be a remix of the comics ending , packing feeling scenes as well as noisy action , intense drama , violence while our protagonists facing off nasty Pamela Milton : Laila Robins and adding lots of blood and gore . It's a solid episode at 90 minutes approx. , that's the longest chapter of the series , containing a terror story with plenty of suspense , restless horror in cinematic style , and eventually a sensitive finale with redemption included , being competently directed by Greg Nicotero who's a main creator of the series.
