Forced, hard to watch, and cringy. Could not even get through the first episode. I loved the movies as a child, but this series does not resemble the originals at all. I am not sure how people love it and give it such high ratings. Morticia and Gomez have no chemistry. Gomez was always very charming but in this, he is just creepy, and not in a good way. I agree with the others who said the values which bonded together the family in the original are missing here. It is under the "comedy" genre which puzzles me.
